Wall to wall ads.

This post is about a brilliant and long running Foxtel campaign that’s all about the ads. You can view the commercial here.

"Wall to wall ads". They say it like it's a bad thing, and the wonderful irony is this is such a great campaign it's been running for years with a few minor updates. I saw the new version last night and still made me laugh.

But here's the thing. People don't hate ads. They hate bad ads.

As David Abbott (apparently) put it, "shit delivered at the speed of light is still shit." We've moved from creating entertaining interruptions people welcomed to bombarding them with low-cost, poorly targeted content they're actively trying to avoid.

The advertising industry once asked for permission to interrupt with something worth watching. Now it demands attention without offering value in return.

At The Pitch Collective, we're bringing together freelance creative minds who have crafted iconic campaigns for leading brands, at equally iconic agencies.

People who genuinely love advertising and understand its power to move, entertain and persuade. Our model delivers their expertise directly to your business without the traditional agency overheads.

Because great creative thinking isn't about budget size, it's about removing inefficiencies while focusing on the incredible impact effective advertising can have on a business. And our own screen time. Because when was the last time you saw an ad that made you stop scrolling?
